The Husker men’s basketball team isn’t getting a whole lot of respect as double digit dogs on the road this evening. I am not going into this game expecting a win, but getting 11.5 seems to be a bit aggressive.

Ohio State is undefeated in conference play, which is no small feat. I just think they aren’t as deep as Purdue and Michigan State. Could this be the night they drop from perfection?

Nah. I say OSU covers easily

This is Ohio State's 3rd game in 5 days, and the last one included a game at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.

There is always the chance they could be really working on a magical season and that won't phase them at all.... But considering Nebraska's ability to defend and Ohio State's short turnaround, I think that spread favors the Huskers to cover.

We have been a covering machine this year so I wouldn't bet against us. OSU is playing very good basketball right now. I'm hoping they are due for a let down.

OSU is really beating up teams this year. When you look at their recent games, they beat Minnesota by 18 (MSG), Rutgers by 22, Maryland by 22, Michigan State by 16. This team is no joke and no stranger to winning by double digits.

This explains why the large point spread, but at the end of the day, this Husker team has shown more character than I've seen in quite a while. This team could have easily laid down vs. Purdue, but they kept grinding. I believe its this character that will allow Nebraska to give Ohio State a game. I won't go as far as predicting an upset, but it's not out of the realm of possibilities.

Outside of this game, the best chance to boost the resume comes at home against Maryland on Feb 13. The rest of the games represent chances to win, chances to lose, but no real chances to bolster the resume. I hope the team comes out with a lot of energy. Especially on the defensive end, because Ohio State can score. The teams match-up fairly well, in that Nebraska's "death squad" won't really mess up the Buckeyes because they also go mostly without a traditional center. I think their front line goes 6'9, 6'8.

Dakich is almost as annoying to watch as his old man is to listen to.

Love how he struck the "all day long" pose on a shot that missed by four feet.

Our guys need to learn how to throw their head backwards when they get bumped. Melo Trimble made that an automatic foul in the Big Ten.

If we could make a handful of these wide open 3’s, we’d be up 10+

Need to keep getting the ball inside. i wasn't too impressed with OSU's interior defense when NU got the ball in the paint, with a guy who can score. Threes are nice but when they are not falling, play some inside-out ball and try to free up the shooters that way.

Huskers athleticism comes in handy here. OSU getting no easy looks. Just need to start hitting a few more shots and the team will be fine.

This team is absolute trash from beyond the arc. Should be #1 on the SC Not Top 10

Palmer needs to stay aggressive on the offensive end. He can get OSU's top guys in foul trouble.

good lord i cannot stand the weave offense. just dont think it leads to any easy buckets. a lot of jumpers late in the shot clock.

I see the line and I think that it means that there is an equal chance that they will beat us by 22 vs. we beat them by 1. If we play 100 times, we might beat them 10 times so I see that as a good line.
