I started buying stuff-- never tried the clothes-- from Duluth more than 25 years ago when they were more of a clearing house type operation. I still use the Bucket Boss (love their website) inserts and tool organizers for several 5 gallon buckets I fixed up back in the 90s to keep all the nuts, bolts, screws, nails, small parts, and other assorted hardware and tools I used on my job at the time organized. Also bought a canvass "desk organizer" for the pickup steering wheel that I still use.
Every catalog used to have a few pages of really cool and hard to find tools and specialty tool sets that you didn't know you even needed till you saw them there, as well as handy little books you could keep in your pocket with all kinds of conversion tables and carpentry, welding, electrical, and mechanical specs. I always looked forward to the next catalog. After the commercials started on TV ten years or so ago the focus seemed to switch to clothes but you can still find good stuff on their website. It always has been expensive to buy there but as for the tools and so on, I've always found them to be of the highest quality that will give you years of service.
If you see something you like google it, you can usually find the same brand somewhere else for less-- may be why they switched the focus to clothes because they're their own brand?
