OK. I can see how people would be excited about those two names. I guess the next question I would have is, what is Sean Snyder like? Is he close to a carbon copy of his old man? If so, then hire the guy. Or is he another in a long line of sons who cannot come close to measuring up to their fathers?
I have no idea what he is like. I just know he's a special teams coordinator that hasn't coached anywhere else that nobody else is trying to hire. I am sure the guy knows football. But he hasn't even been an OC or a DC.
You can have the coaches son who was a punter and a special teams coordinator or you can have Venables, I think that is an easy decision. Especially because the window for Venables could be closing if he gets a big SEC job.
