Looks like he's behind their freshman for playing time. The rumor was that he wants to play and if he has to transfer to get to play that's what he'll do.Does Burrows even want too transfer?

If he does want to transfer to play, that begs the question of how good of a fit we'd be. With POB, Gebbia, and potentially Martinez coming if we get him (I'm assuming Lee leaves), are we that much better of a guarantee of playing time? I'd love to get him, but if playing time is his criteria, I'm not sure we'd be THAT appealing compared to schools in a worse QB situation.
Was wondering the same thing. Michigan tried to get Van Jefferson (wr) and Deontay Anderson (db) to transfer from Ole Miss but they aren’t going. They could make a quick impact here.To piggyback on the thread, are we looking at any Ole Miss players? Have not heard anything about it. If we sign 4 or 5 Juco kids and grab a couple of grad/sanction transfers we could completely change the complexion of the team for 2018.

Where ya been Tuco? Missed your input. Don't be a stranger.Anderson is friends with my middle child. I don’t think he has any interest in Nebraska.
Graduate transfers are free to go wherever they want, no realease required. Like when Kevin Williams went to Michigan State. If Burrows has to be released do you think Rural Meyer we release him to a conference team? Not to mention a conference team they play next year.
Harbaugh got Iowa’s QB as a grad transfer his first year at Michigan. MSU got a DT from us as a grad transfer last year.I have no idea if Meyer has any say in this or not if Burrow is a grad transfer. I'm wondering if the conference likes the idea of transfers within the conference. The B1G is like that.
I want what's best for Joe as he seems to be a great kid. However, I think he would have to decide that he just wants to be sure that he's gonna play and leave without a clear resolution at the position at OSU. If he stays, I doubt there will be a starter named until fall camp starts at the earliest. He and Haskins are both good and I think will be right there neck and neck until the end.
Good luck to him either way. I'm rooting for him. Nothing against Haskins, I just want to see the full offense run to its potential.
You're right. scUM continues to not be able to develop its own QBs.Harbaugh got Iowa’s QB as a grad transfer his first year at Michigan. MSU got a DT from us as a grad transfer last year.
Everybody scored on us. I'm not sure if that should be considered impressive.Notable: Burrow was 6-of-6 passing for 62 yards, plus scored his first rushing touchdown, in the game against Nebraska last year ... Nebraska is the school for which his father, Jimmy, and two older brothers, Jamie and Dan, played football and lettered.

I was actually just trying to reinforce the correct spelling of the QB's last name. But to your point: yes, not impressive based on the competition.Everybody scored on us. I'm not sure if that should be considered impressive.
Since when do we have go spell names correctly around here? LolI was actually just trying to reinforce the correct spelling of the QB's last name. But to your point: yes, not impressive based on the competition.
How do graduate transfers work? Are schools allowed to contact these guys or do they have to make first contact?
Do we have a chance with Burrows from OSU or do we even have interest in him?
