Just got curious the other day about Nebraska's opponents this year.

We played 9 bowl teams who went 77-32 during the regular season (We did beat 2 of them).

Take out our wins over Ark St. and Purdue, and they were 77-30.

the out of conference schedule last year consisted of

The 3rd place team from the Sunbelt
The 3rd place team from the West division of the MAC
The 4th place team from the Pac-12 North

we finished 1-2 with the Sunbelt team taking us down to the last play of the game all the while having to listen to some tell us how good those teams were

we easily could have been 2-10.
Or 1-11, I think we were down in the second half to Rutgers at one point. The only game we were never losing at any point was Illinois.:( Played on a Friday no less when some of us could not even watch it live.

Cool. Nebraska went 4-8, and lost to teams with nary a pulse. Im all honesty, I can’t believe NU managed to win even 4 games, considering the coaching. And possibly, the player attitudes/mentalities.

I really want to know what caused the stock market crash as well. In reality, it doesn't matter at this point. It is an historical fact and we live with it, learn from it and go on. We don't dwell on it although some apparently still are. You have a new coaching staff and administration so why rehash the past as it has no bearing on the future except to keep things stirred up.

If your spouse or you ever did anything or said anything wrong in your relationship but were forgiven and it was long ago, do you keep bringing it up? All it does is keep the fires of anger burning. It is not how you move forward, but continually looking at the past.

Wow! You guys are all starting to sound like the numbskulls on the UCF
boards. I didn't say a word about anything other than being curious about records and bowl scenarios. Chill out, guys.
