He was committed to UCLA for about 8 months. Didn't decommit until the coaching change.
Frost, Held and the DC were at his school this morning.
That shows us they are wanting to get this guy in the class and he is showing interest.

A couple of national recruiting guys just gave him a crystal ball prediction to Nebraska.
I wonder if this changes anything with John Huggins? He was scheduled to visit this weekend too. Not sure if we would take 3 safeties in this class? A week ago it looked like we were the favorites for Huggins, but the latest crystal balls have him going to Florida.

I guess I am a little confused. You guys had 3 receivers in the class that were studs and with all due respect it looks they all three will flip. What's with taking 3 safeties? I get that you guys got a Juco we but this seems like an odd move.
Trying to get any kind of athlete we can. We’re not close to winning, so we need whatever will come. It’s going to be a rough year in 18. And that’s with a good chunk SR’s and little depth. We’ve lost all of our top prospects. We had 6 4* and we’ll probably end up with 6. Par for the course.
We have one safety now: CJ Smith. While we do need WR, we also need DB's. We had no DB's last year and Smith is our only current DB commit.
Those WR's were committed to the coach and his brand and not the school. We are on the verge of flipping a major stud out of Texas with 4.4 LASER 40 yard dash time. We have two WR's we are in great standing for and we are in the final group for another Texas WR with elite speed.
Apparently our coaches like safeties named Cam'Ron. We offered 2019 safety prospect Cam'Ron Kelly today.
