It was a sea of red and white. It is genetic with NU anyway. Sort of like "black out" and 4 people show up wearing black and half are the away side.

Wasn't there a game in the late 90s when it was so hot that the officials mandated a water break each quarter? I want to say it was either the 1997 Akron game (1pm kickoff on 30 Aug) or 1998 UAB game (12:30 kickoff on 05 Sep). I remember one of my neighbors went to the game where this happened and they said there was more white than red in the stands and many were being treated for heat stroke.

Both but UAB game was the worst.
Their safety pulled his helmet off and puked rifht after a play.
