I hope we land that guy. We're trending for Terry Wilson right now, too. It already feels like NU was doing pretty ok in recruiting under the prior staff, but now it feels...different. Like a surer hand that seems to know exactly what we need is guiding the process and kicking it into overdrive.
I really like that we offered that Wisconsin commit from Lincoln, Williams. That kid looks like a hoss and I have no idea why we would have passed him up and been ok with him going to Wisconsin...

I also think there's a high probability that Vedral transfers here....would have to sit out in 2018, though.
Are you sure he will have a scholarship here? I hope we recruit past him.
I would expect at least one (Lee) and possibly 2 QBs (POB?) to transfer, so I think we'd have room for Vedral. He already has experience running Frost's offense and Frost has raved about him and his work ethic. Frost is also close with his family - was teammates with 3 of his uncles at Nebraska.

Yep, Garden City CC (Coached by Jeff Sims, that gave us a bunch of players when he was at Fort Scott). he was in the same class as POB.

Was Wilson the guy who decomitted and went to Oregon? Is he Juco now due to grades or didnt work out at Oregon? If thats the guy I am thinking of I recall quite a few people here being really high on him. Sounds like he would be a good one to get.

Yep, the same. He was beat out at Oregon by Herbert, their current starting QB.
He is the same Terry Wilson. I think he was named the MVP of his juco league this year, if I heard correctly. I see he cancelled a visit to Indiana for this weekend. Unsportsmanlike Conduct had him on last week and he is very interested in Nebraska with Frost here.
It is odd then, isn't it, that he has not been offered? Frost and his staff wasted no time sending out offers to lots of guys on their radar, including Martinez. I am sure Frost is aware that Wilson is at a Juco in Kansas. And yet no offer yet? Does Frost know something about Wilson that he doesn't like?
Lots of "Maybe's" here though.... Maybe I am reading WAY too much into this and maybe they just have not gotten around to offering him yet. Maybe they only want to take one QB in this class and they think Martinez has more upside. Maybe they will take two QB's if either POB or Gebbia transfer and are waiting to see what happens there.

Frost knows his system and he's recruiting specific guys that fit that system. Thats how you win in today's college football. Find guys that fot your system coach em up and rake in the W's.

I think Noah is worthy of a scholarship. It also sends a great message that Frost is committed to getting the Nebraska kids, whatever it takes.

There was a true freshman walk on in Wilson's class that was ahead of him on the depth chart when he left Oregon.
Martinez moved his official visit up to this weekend. That has to be a good sign for us.
However, I read that he missed his entire senior season due to a serious shoulder injury/surgery. That's a bit concerning, as you don't know how that is going to affect his ability to throw in the future. His junior season film is pretty impressive, so hopefully his shoulder heals.

It’s sure funny how some of you guys keep thinking these two are going to transfer. This is Lees last year and he’s stoked about Frost and he believes in himself to adapt to Frosts system (so I’ll believe in him) and everyone keeps thinking OBrein will transfer the next season and yet, he’s still here, yet he’s still competing and yet he’s still excitedly ready to battle. I for one do NOT see any of our QBs transferring out. All of them seem very excited about Frost and ready to compete. Unlike some of you guys, I’m not giving up on any of them...even more so when you have a kid as good as Gebbia at QB. He’s my pick. If the kid is mobile enough (which he is, he’s no Vick but he CAN RUN) then Frost will Taylor his offense around him and his brains, arm and studying of the game will make him an all BIG10 type QB in the future. I’ll still take the 4 star dual threat and Wilson too. We can never have enough QBs. Even Verdal. But hell no, I’m not giving up on our former 4 star QBs (one that could be playing at Bama or Ole Miss right now).
