Why do they always put us on the end of the court that has lids on the baskets?
When our good shooters finally start shooting good, we're totally going to The Dance.

That said, this is not a game that's going to make or break the Huskers' season. With the manpower Sparty has this year, it was pretty much an L before the National Anthem was finished.

How long during the seasons we have to wait for this good shooting your talking about..
Don't expect to win this game but it would be nice to stay around 10 points of them at the end.

We are really good this year. If Izzo doesn’t win his second now, not sure he’ll acquire another roster this stacked before he retires.

Sorry I should have used the sarcasm font.

Really good? Yes. But 17% from the field lol. Same game as year. Moos you will need to get your black book ready for round ball.

I expect Michigan State will roll us and that sure seems to be happening but we do sort of resemble a basketball team this year...at least during the time outs. Once the ball is in play we’re still a bit hopeless

Yeah we look good coming off the bus. That seems to be about as far as it goes against good teams. The Minnesota game at home will be interesting. Feels like a must win imo.

This should just be a common foul. People have been catching elbows in the head since basketball was invented - doesn't mean anyone did anything flagrant or dirty.

EDIT: Wow they waved off the foul completely. Was not expecting that.

I can't believe they took the foul away completely.

Unless he finishes dead-last in the Big Ten, Miles will get one more year. I don't think Moos wants to add another buyout so soon after Riley and Eichorst.

This team has about as good of chance of going to the "Dance" as Smilin' Mike coaching Alabama next year.

It's amazing how our 1-2 punch of Duby and Jordy can hardly play a combined 12 minutes without both picking up 4 fouls a piece. We build a decent roster with hopes Jordy and Duby can contribute and help, but they literally cannot even stay out there to provide a body for us. It might cost us a decent season, and Miles his job. Not sure Miles will survive another sub .500 season.

He doesn't deserve to. He has had more than enough time and resources to put a decent product on the court. His apologists' excuses are almost as bad as the ones I heard with Smilin' Mike. Maybe the Sadler virus is still plaguing the program.

I don't think Miles has to have a breakthrough season in order to be back next year, but I think NU needs a middle-of-the-pack finish (7-8ish) in the Big Ten and an NIT bid. Otherwise, you just can't keep paying the guy to put the same, sub-.500 product on the floor year after year. I suppose if the Huskers finish 11th or 12th again, someone will break out the "He exceeded expectations!" nonsense, but I don't think it will carry the day this time.

I believe they held North Carolina to 25% shooting in their game last week. Their worst ever under Roy. This MSU team is good. Real good.

We should probably be happy that Eichorst didn’t take the opportunity to name the new b-ball coach.

You read my mind. Didn't need another blunder hire from a lawyer that has to ask another AD who too hire.

The B1G looks to be down this year in hoops. If he can't get them there or an NIT bid, (especially with all this "talent" we keep hearing about), he needs to be fired. 6 years is more than enough time to put a respectable product in the court, especially with the resources he has been afforded

Yeah I'm with you. I know some people like to squeal about Husker fans having unrealistic expectations for the basketball program, but if a middle-of-the-pack finish in year #6 is too much to ask, why have any expectations at all? Just throw millions at Timmy for being funny on Twitter and being Lee Barfknecht's pal.
