After all of the coaches that have rejected them they should be thankful if they do get Leach.

If they do get Leach then we should hit their commit list and see if we can pluck away a recruit or two after Frost gets announced Saturday.

People may not like the guy, but I will say this he wins games in places that you are not suppose to win games. It will be interesting to see what he could do at a program like Tennessee. The problem might be that the Tennessee fans may really think he is a pirate and start protesting the hire.

I would actually love to see how his offense would do in the SEC.

Ditto. I have always been very curious about this as well.

It may take some time adapting, but I bet it can thrive. Probably have many issues until the tempo is sped up more due to the DLs in the SEC.

If he doesn’t hire an amazing DC, he will be out in 4 years.

I think it would only be appropriate that a young looking guy in his 60s coach a team called the Cougars!

Won’t UT fans take to the streets when the story about Craig James’s kid inevitably resurfaces?

Or, maybe they’ve figured out Gruden isn’t coming and protesting is now out of style.

I don't think the Craig James' kid incident would be a big deal since I suspect locking kids in closets is standard operating procedure down there. However, Leach slamming women for getting excited about weddings might be a big deal. I hear nine bridesmaids are fairly standard.

Geez what a dumpster fire. Now their former coach Phil Fulmer is supposely behind their AD Curry getting fired (Because Fulmer wants to be AD). Holy jeez what a crap show. I couldn't even imagine a former coach doing things like that behind the scenes that hamstring anyone but someone he approves of succeeding.

Considering how the search was progressing, I think they got mighty lucky with Leach. They should be a lot of fun to watch with him in control.

Sounds like Leach and Currie had a deal but UT said no. Now Fulmer steps in as AD.

They have to be down to Tee Martin. Can't imagine anyone that is not a former player as a fallback would touch that school.

I thought nothing could be more chaotic than the search leading to BC’s hiring. I was so wrong.
