Fact: No coach has anything to do with any merchandise contracting.
Fact: No merchandising contracting has anything to do with any coaches in an athletic department.

Fact- you are completely off base here. Research how much money Rick Pitino personally received from Adidas when Louisville signed their extension this past summer.

In the case of Kelly, the speculation is that he he won’t take a job with a team that has a shoe deal with a major competitor to Nike. So nothing you posted here is relevant to that topic.

Until we have an announcement by Mr. Moos, we don't have anyone Locked In! Regardless of all the gossip and rumors presented here as fact!

And Nebraska would never be a great fit for Chip Kelly. This is not someplace he would want to coach at. Wrong kind of Football! Not bad, but too different.

Due diligence on Kelly is as simple as checking the record of prior major NCAA infractions for illegal activity which included a $25,000 cash payment to a recruiting service and resulting in 3 years probation and other penalties for the program he headed.
