Anyone feel sorry for Missouri?

I feel bad for the kid...sucks for him. Cuonzo on the other hand has had a very charmed coaching career considering how little he has accomplished in the dance (or even getting to the dance).

he did a really good job at missouri state - they shot like creighton last night in the MVC final one year and still almost pulled it out.

After running a gauntlet of f-bombing Missou fans in Columbia a few times, I don't really care what happens to Missou. Their current enrollment and public relations problems aren't a concern of mine. The fewer Tiger fans there are in the world, the better.

As a Husker fan that has lived in Missouri the past 18 years and has a son that graduated from the Mizzou School Of Journalism I will say that there are a bunch of good people in this state...now that I think of it most of my friends and Clients are originally from Nebraska or Iowa though:)
I will add that Mizzou has one of the best J Schools in the nation and after graduation in May my son jumped right in as a Sports Reporter for Fox TV in Texas...

Took a beer can (full) to the leg doing the walk of shame in 07 (I think) post game. I would have taken a less populated route but there was a group of Women in Red about 100 feet in front of me taking the main path back to the tour bus location. Good Lord, even the "ladies" in that state behave like animals.

Agree. Great journalism school. Let their enrollment issues be a telling example of how city and state's suffer when they tout bigotry instead of inclusion.

Yep. You’ve never lived until you’ve been to a night game in Columbia.

I've only heard poor things about Colombia, MO. A couple friends had their tires slashed after the 2003 game. Another few friends had piss balloons thrown at them exiting the game and one of them had an older man dump hot cocoa down the back of her shirt after DONU scored a TD.

Oh Yeah! Then there is this...

I have a post grad professional degree from MU and I wouldn't go back there to an NU game. We and about 30 of my friends and family from NU went to every game while I was going to school back then. The last time my wife and I were innocently driving down the street and a huge black dude dressed up in a black and gold cowboy outfit decided he wanted to kill me. For some unknown reason he raced around me in his car, slammed on his brakes, jumped out of his car and stood in the middle of the street screaming at me....like I was gonna stop? Nah I floored it and pointed it straight at him. He moved. Columbia is a nice small city with all the big city problems imported from their eastern and western borders.

Went to Mizzou games many times, only had to tell one dude, you speak one more word I am going to kill you, he turned and left the area.

Mizzou = Buyers remorse.

LOL....There are hundreds of Nebraska residents that own property in my area alone and don't recall ever hearing any Buyers remorse..several former Husker players and even people whose name is on a Husker facility and CEO's from Lincoln and Omaha own property here.

I'm not arguing that Mizzou fans can't be a$$holes because some can be....just saying that most who live or own property in this state are normal hard working people very similar to Nebraska residents.
