The refs are horiawful, as usual. 4 of Nebraska's 6 fouls are either a total joke, or at the least very iffy.

And on the other end, North Dakota is playing hack-a-Husker and getting called for jack. Just watched Evan Taylor get slapped in the arm with no call, then on the other end NDU player steps into him, pushing him in to NDU player he was guarding, and Evan got a foul for being pushed in to other player.

It's a good thing we're shooting well, because we aren't going to get any help from the refs. Did they pull these guys from a YMCA game?

Isaac Copeland was just called for a shooting foul when he was standing straight by the free throw line and the guy shot from under the basket. Simply no way he fouled the shooter (or anyone else for that matter), these refs are unreal in how God awful they are.

No contact at all... Copeland and Roby both look real good today!

It was a win.

Solid? Hard to know for sure until further into the season to see how ND is this year.

A win is a win for a Miles-led team though :D

I will take it!

If Anton Gill can be an offensive spark all season, that would be very good, imo.

I've been a Nebrasketball fan since the early 2000's and have never seen a Nebraska team this talented and athletic..Really hoping the wins follow.

Beat UCF
I was pretty excited to watch Gill after some of the practice reports from the media but it looks to me like he's a streaky shooter from the field. He may get hot some games and give us 20, but that makes it tough when he goes 1/10 from 3 the next game.

Was thinking the same, regarding athleticism.

FG% has trended up 1 percent, rebounding getting better. 3 point % needs to improve, but a win is a win! The road loss to St. Johns was a stark reminder of how bad things can get, we'll see on Dec. 3rd (Mich State) if they can make progress.

Creighton is about to hang 100 on UCLA. As much as I hate their fans, they are so fun to watch on offense. Coach Miles needs to take notes.

Creighton must be the luckiest team on the planet. Everybody they play is overrated and not a real team.

Sooner or Later, you would think the Jays' crazy dumb luck would run out.

Creighton played a team that was depleted of 3 star players due to some silly violation as Lavar put it. Boys will be boys and let them play.o_O

NW was shown to be overrated by Texas Tech last night;). If Ball plays as his dad said he should, they win.o_O

UCLA was a good matchup for them. Another team that likes to run. Gonzaga will be a great one to watch. A battle of styles with two very good coaches.

But Ball and those other two "star players" (who haven't played in an actual game yet) were already suspended when you told us how badly UCLA was going to expose Creighton. Didn't you factor those suspensions into your hot take?

You do realize that Wikes and Hands were 5-stars last year and could potentially be one and done? Those two played tonight. You also realize the younger Ball isn’t likely playing much, if he was not suspended? The other 2 guys suspended aren’t the stars of the UCLA team at all. I don’t think UCLA starts anything less than a 4 star even with the suspensions

It’s ok to hate the Jays but don’t make things up. I mean I get beating UCLA on a natural court isn’t as impressive as beating North Dakota at home...
I love both programs, always have and always will. But I’m not delusional. I know what we have @ NU. I don’t have to have “Little man” syndrome to make it better

And Creighton was missing an injured player who's a lot more important to them than any of the suspended UCLA players. But don't let facts get in the way of the annual Craydon prolly won't win another game blah blah.

I repeat, Creighton looks very good. Hell most of the BigEast that I have seen looks very good.
