I agree. But maybe we should cut them some slack. After all, they are new to this big boy football thing and can't seem to get their minds around the fact that these kinds of "leaks", both real and fake, are par for the course. To claim that this latest "inside scoop" is part of some bigger conspiracy by Nebraska to undermine UCF is just absurd and is really just an expression of their anxiety. They know they are losing their coach so they are angrily lashing out at their tormentors.

But the claim is absurd for one obvious reason: why would Nebraska want to make their new coach look bad down the stretch? By way of comparison imagine if Nebraska, in late 2007, had tried to undermine LSU before their title game, making their new coach, Bo Pelini, look bad. They didn't because it is absurd.

Let’s not really worry about their fans. Understandably they are excited to be undefeated and would feel hurt to lose their head coach. We would feel the same. Let them vent and we will be unlikely to cross paths again.

Indeed, paths are unlikely to cross too often. One being P5 and not sniffing a premier NYD bowl in 15 years and the other being G5 and on the march toward a second premier NYD bowl in 5 seasons.

And, of course, the EDIT P5 has to foster the illusion of superiority by having 9-game conference schedules (limiting schedule openings for G5) and then asserting that they "must have" 7 home games" (thereby ensuring that those few G5/P5 games that happen are at P5 school) Voila! Suddenly P5 fans actually believe that G5 schools do not want to play P5 schools, G5 schools cannot compete with P5 schools..... And, for good measure, G5 fans aren't good fans since they don't sell out their defacto G5 home schedule.

You “guys”? I just checked your board and I don’t see regular, established Nebraska posters on there. Just idiots who don’t have good college fb knowledge. Either way if Frost comes back to Nebraska or not, let go of all butthurt because I will be rooting for Scott Frost wherever he goes.

Yet in spite of all of that you will still lose your coach to Nebraska...so there you go.

Meh. I'll still kind of root for them. We've got numbskull fans going over there and acting stupid. There's always a few idiots in every fan base.
