I very seriously doubt it's being dragged along. My guess is the contract is drawn up and details are being worked on as we speak behind the scenes. Of course nothing will be said until after the clock hit's :00 in the Iowa game, but don't let the fact that Riley is still our coach fool you.
I hope you're right. After having Pederson and Eichorst, my faith in the diligence from our AD's leave me with very little hope. And I hope that Frost has been contacted.
What is it specifically that people like keyshawn Johnson Sr. see In Riley? In his opinion, why would he send his son to play for Riley? Make his son pro-ready? I don't see it. I don't get specifically what it is about people who believe in Riley. When people say, great guy, great coach, what are the great coach things?

I’ve asked the same thing. I think they see great guy, knows x&o’s. Just no big picture thinking about the importance of winning at a place like Nebraska.

Exactly. He is so fixated on his 5 year goal he is willing to sacrifice all other years to get there. He might then have a good year or two but then what. How do you sell recruits on your 5 year plan when they might only be there for 4. He has to go. Period.
