While this board has mostly become a Central Florida board, I hope the few people here who still root for NU realize we have a tough opponent this week. Too bad so few seem to care.

If we can win, I believe 7 wins are likely. Not great but I really thought 6-6 at the beginning of the year. The blowouts of course are the buzzkill.

I like your optimism. I think a win here is, honestly a steal, but it might be our best shot at one, (or Iowa), for ROS.
As for NWU, I think we can pass on them a bit, but I think it depends on how confident and focused Lee is. Run game is probably not going to do much, but if we can find a foothold, perhaps we get Bradley Going?

I care about the game on Saturday. I find it odd how anyone would consider themselves a big enough fan to post on this message board, but you wouldn't go to or watch a game because of the team's record. We can be pissed about the leadership. we can be pissed off about the season, and we can even be angry by the overwhelming irrelevance circling the program.
But watching football games and rooting for the Huskers is still the primary reason any of this **** here exists.

I think this will be a fun game to hit up Lincoln. Weather is still decent, 2:30 kickoffs are great...I am trying to make arrangements to get there and have a good time. Shoot, we only get 7 home games.
I think we’ll win 7 games as well. But look at who we beat. Now, where’s the rock to hide under. We’d win 2 games in the SEC with their speed. To think this team is loaded with RSJRs is scary.
Mizzu under Pinkel immediately found success in the SEC East, which is very comparable to the B1G West. Mizzu is terrible now but mostly because they haven’t been able to find another Pinkel, not because their division is tough. The supposed powers of that division, Tennnessee and Florida, are awful. The Big East powers and Wisky are as good as any SEC team with the possible exception of Alabama. The B1G East is better than the mighty SEC West top to bottom.
I think the fact that they are a “tough” opponent says enough - especially after our “tough” opponent last week.

I like Nebraska's chances in this game. NW has been getting a bunch of luck lately to eek out those wins. Luck runs out I think for them in Lincoln.
Since I really don't expect to win many games, I'm actually enjoying the games a little more. I still watch and slightly care, but I don't revolve my day around it any more or give two sh*ts if/when we lose. So yeah you can say indifference has set in for me and lots of my friends.
