The East is in a completely different class of its own. The west is a 1 man show.

Good selling point for our new AD looking to hire any competent head coach.. If Frost can find a way to regularly beat Wisky and Iowa (and I think he will), we'll be playing for conference championships.

I brought out the Woodford Reserve to celebrate not losing.
Wife is at the Garth Brooks concert with our good friend her personal trainer, so I think ill save the good stuff and bring out some Corona to celebrate not losing. Cheers.

Everyone was crying geography when we had the legends and leaders but I actually like that set up better. We had Penn state, Michigan, Sparty and Iowa. If they swapped Michigan and Wisconsin I would have been good but the current setup is kinda weak and we still can't win.. Smh

PSU was our “crossover rival” if I recall.

Most boring, unimaginative offenses in football.
Meh. Kind of enjoy watching Iowa piss it down their leg against Northwestern. Of course the wind was blowing 40 mph so it was tough to pass the ball. Hard to be too imaginative in those conditions. I bet Husker fans would take a dull and unimaginative offense that won right now.

Yeah but at this point, compared to the east, winning the west would be akin to being the tallest midget.

And is half our fan base going to start trying to run the new coach out of town if he gets run out of the Championship game building???

Iowa is 3 plays away from being undefeated and ranked #2 in the nation.

The Penn St pass fails incomplete.

Nate Stanley doesn’t have that horrible fumble on the Michigan State 1 yard line.

Recinos makes his first FG against N.W., and we’re looking at one the best Iowa season of all time

The sky is not falling in the B1G West.

I don't think you can judge the conference until you get to bowl season. That's the beauty of 900 meaningless football games over the Christmas season. I love it.

It's a poor division....making the current state of NU football that much more putrid. I'm guessing NU finishes 2-4 or 3-3 against B1G West.....damn

It's not just poor play this year. It has now been six years since joining the Big Ten and, imo, there is a lack of excitement in playing any team in our division other than Wisconsin. (It's hard for me to get excited about Iowa.)

I looked forward to the CU's, KSU's and Missouri's back in the Big XII. They weren't always great but the opponents seemed to generate more excitement. These teams in the West seem to have so little history and especially history with us.

P.S. I'm not pining to return to the Big XII or even Big Eight but wish the opponents brought more excitement.
