Watching Nebraska is just so depressing.

Stanford - tough, they always improve throughout the season with this season a prime example. They're not the most athletic, but they're smart. bryce love is a beast.
GA Tech - just for the offense
New Mexico St - fun to see a team that is usually total dogshit do well this year. Tyler Rogers is good. Plus, I have won virtually every NMSU game I bet on for like the last decade.
Cal - Their defensive improvement from last year to this year is just amazing. They play with amazing effort, even though they're clearly not gifted athletically.

I don’t really see it that way. Maybe I’m not seeing some of the power elements that others see. Not to say they aren’t physical. Watching a handful of their games though it’s pretty impressive how fast they play and how well they execute. I understand they aren’t playing the best of teams but that hasn’t stopped Riley teams from looking like dog crap

Cubsker: I've rooted for Cal for a long time (so I've endured some rough years) and you're right: it's great to see a defense play with such grit even though, as you say, they are probably not as athletically gifted as some other teams. What a pleasure it was to watch the Golden Bears swarm to the ball carrier when they played Washington State on Friday, and to execute so many cleverly designed blitzes.

even against USC, where they were clearly outmanned, the effort was just off the charts. Very good hire of Wilcox, it looks like.

Has anyone watched Arizona lately? Their backup QB is doing incredible things with his feet.
