What does this a$$ whooping tell us that we didn’t already know? Nobody expected us to be competitive in this game. This shouldn’t change anyone’s mind on the coaching issue.

This was much more than an *** whooping! I feel physically ill after watching this ****.
Idk what national media thought, nor voters. I've seen our boys in person twice and seen them thrice on tv. I didnt expect us to be competitive. I did however, expect us to go down fighting and executing.
I have not seen either tonight; exceptions being Lee and our WRs.
I don't think anybody realistically thought we were gonna beat OSU but man this defensive showing is about as bad as I've seen. This is on par with Pelini's loss to Wisconsin. At least OSU is probably going to be a top 5 program when it's all said and done and Wisconsin wan't that year.

Agreed, hell of a job Riley is doing. He doesn’t suck at all.
I'm not using it as an excuse. Our safeties haven't been the primary problem. Our scheme on D was stupid.
I agree, not easy to take over a program that has won 9-10 games for 7 straight years. Amazing job Riley has done turning things around.

I didn’t say it wasn’t a problem. I said that this game shouldn’t change anyone’s mind about HCMR because this was expected.
I expect to beat Purdue. IF we don't, that's a big problem. Then you're virtually guaranteed at best a 6 win season at best.
I feel bad for the kids. There is no way they feel good about the direction the program is going. They may say publicly they are fine and support their coaches, but I would like to know what they are telling their family, friends and classmates privately
Who do the Huskers have a chance beating the rest of the year? Purdue? Maybe. Northwestern? Minnesota? Road trip. Penn State? Another blowout loss. Iowa? That has been a tough one to win as well. Could last week be our last win?
Could be. But I think we can match up with everybody but PSU left on the schedule. Wisconsin and Ohio State were terrible matchups for us. Terrible. We'll know soon enough.
I will be watching the Purdue game from my nephew's restaurant in Phoenix with my wife, A Purdue alumni, Ugh. Oh well, at least I will have good food.
