Steve Pederson had a great resume, and had deep roots in Nebraska. Just keep that in the back of your mind before insisting the new AD have a history with Nebraska.

Steve was universally hated by anyone "underneath" him in the program back in the 80s, including a rift with solich.
He was an excellent brown noser and a snake in the grass as was said before

He seems well-liked but that might be because he hasn't had to hire a coach yet. I'd prefer someone who has actually shown he can make good hires in the major sports.

Weird, because I remember the self-appointed experts on this very site (now occupying the HPH site) demanding Steve Pederson be hired right away, with no delay! Some even wanted UNL administrators fired for not hiring Pederson quickly enough. So I'm confused. Are you suggesting internet tough guys are not always right in these matters?
