Be it the new AD, or if we need a new Coach, it doesn't have to be a "Nebraska" guy. Our minds go there automatically....I totally get that. This "cycle" of instability means we are due to appease the portion of the fanbase that sleeps better with a Nebraska-tied individual in charge. Just don't hire for that reason. Just give us the best AD available to right ALL of our sports programs. I don't know who that is, but smarter people than I (meaning: everyone) surely do.
It doesn't have to be someone with ties to the program.

At the same time, it doesn't mean that he can't be a Nebraska guy. Some people seem to disqualify guys just because they have ties to Nebraska.
