I am meeting my son who lives in Phoenix in Denver Is there a good Husker bar that anyone would recommend.

What part of town are you staying in? There are a few places in or near downtown Denver that attract a lot of NU fans, but are not on any watch location lists.

It just sucks having to get there so early before kickoff just for a decent spot.

True that, although it might not be as bad since the game is on Fox Sports 1, which pretty much anyone with cable or satellite will get at home. I think the crowds are bigger for the BTN games, since BTN is only on Comcast's upper tier in Denver.

That was the place my son mentioned. HOwever, according to their web site they don't open until 11 and the game starts as 10 mst.

Cap City opens at 9:30 when there's a 10:00 game.
