Of all Nebraskan sportswriters, Dirk Chatelain is the axe-enthusiast. IIRC, he was a main force in getting rid of our former football coach. Regardless of outcome of the B1G Tournament, my gut says Eichorst won't do it. In that case though if he keeps his job, I don't think a few assistants will be back next year.

I don't think he gets fired before or after the Big Ten tournament. Miles still makes enough die-hards feel like he's their BFF and plays the Little Timmy Underdog role oh so well. Just don't see Eichorst pulling the trigger this year, despite this string of blowouts.

Left the game at half I have a 2 plus hr. drive . There was no need to be punished any more. Only other bb game I left at half was back in the 80's when we had 16 against Okie St. I have watched way to much **** like this. It is time for a real change.

The idea of being canned before the BTT is interesting because if you are pretty sure you are canning him the "worst" thing that can happen is some miracle run through the BTT and snagging the auto-bid.
