Keep stacking talent and the team has more upside potential. Add in good coaches to develop, which I think the team has, this is going to be a fun next 12-24 months for the team. The foundation is getting stronger

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. I really believe that once this train gets going, it's gonna be hard to stop.

Seems we had similar reactions when we signed the tight end out of California. I want to say his name is Snyder. Anyone know what the story is on him?

"I really liked talking to (tight ends) coach Tavita Thompson. They see me as a true Y. They showed me some film from their time at Oregon State and said that this is what they saw me doing.

"I also got a chance to talk a lot with the OC, Danny Langsdorf. He said that with Tommy Armstrong being more of a mobile quarterback that they will be moving more to a pro-style offense."

Yep, definitely going to be a different offense going forwards. Hopefully the TEs are used more frequently in the passing game and even in the red zone.

Maybe Snyder will get a chance to show why we were excited when he signed with us.

I looked up some stats for OrSU and here are the number of receptions for TEs:
(I went back and forth between a roster page and stats page, so the numbers could be higher if I missed a TE)

2008 - 19 catches & 3TDs (1.46 catches per game)
2009 - 41 & 5 TDs (3.15 cpg)
2010 - 37 & 7 TDs (3.08 cpg)
2011 - 43 & 3 TDs (3.58 cpg)
2012 - 52 & 4 TDs (4 cpg)
2013 - 91 & 11 TDs (7 cpg)
2014 - 67 & 3 TDs (5.58 cpg)

The number of catches by TEs trended up as the years went by with Langs running the O. The TEs better get their hands ready to catch the ball this year!

Not very twitter savvy,, if one clicks on the "heart" of Radfal's declaration of committing to the Huskers, is that showing appropriate support or does it make me a creepy stalker fan?

Think of Rafdal and Allen as red zone targets. 6'9 and 6'7 is a scary thought for any d-coordinator.

IMO, 'liking' or pushing that heart button is totally acceptable. Retweeting his post is propbably also acceptable. Anything more is crossing that line.

Personally I will not like or retweet directly at a recruits tweet.

But if (for example) Sean Callahan tweets something about a recruit I will like or retweet that.

I personally don't do any retweeting and favoriting a players tweet directly makes me uncomfortable. I usually only favorite the quoted tweet by Callahan (etc) like you said. But I'm fine with fans retweeting players directly. Just don't tweet recruits. It's that easy!
