how about that tony davis guy selling 'tickets'?
He ran a payboard called Tough Tony Talks, or something like that. After the ticket scandal his board fell apart and those of us who paid for the year were transferred to the huskers Illustrated payboard. That is how I ended up here circa 2002. I had a screen name problem, which also reset my post count in 2004.

I miss a poster called Insufficiently Felicitated.

He seemed to have access to post pics of Bo and the program that only somebody closely connected to Bo would have had. Extremely supportive of Bo and then disappeared shortly after he was canned...ie more of a Bo fan than Husker fan.

Not sure if the guy I know and this poster are the same guy, but he is a retired Navy Lt Commander who is actually a Notre Dame fan. Obviously Catholic, his wife was a good friend of Mary Pat. He got to hang out at the Pelini's house alot.

Did he ever get to see the basement couch?

Man, lots of familiar names here. I can't believe I got caught up in alko's hate for OU that I went over to their board and did what I said I wouldn't do. Realized, after the fact, that I acted just like the douchebags that come over here to troll. Said, never again.

Miss sluggo. That is one fantastic dude. I always pictured him as Warren Buffet, IRL. I know he said he was an attorney. If you're reading this buddy you should come back and post on the free board.

Who can forget rick924?? Seemed like a child in man's body. Made fun of one of his asinine posts (only one) and he stalked me for a month, calling me names. You can't make this stuff up.

Many years ago there was a guy here, very knowledgeable about the players, stats, position switches, chart promotions/demotions, grade concerns, etc. Not inside info, just total immersion into everything he could read in print and online. His name was LynhurstHusker or LynhavenHusker or LinwoodHusker, something like that. He was a Solich apologist. When Solich got canned he announced the program was no longer "the Nebraska he knew" and after 40 years, he would never follow the team again. That was his last post. A couple years later I went over to the Ohio board and there he was, LynhurstCat who seemed to know everything about all the Ohio players. I found it to be kind of sad for some reason.

Timmay had some good insight. H3, Sam, and another kid - Shortbus Driver? I seem to remember a lot of alums living in California contributing in the RSS.

I liked to read Norm's recaps of Husker basketball.
Norm is on Huskerhoopscentral.

Speaking of great spartan threads, what happened to the annual kids' field trip report? Or does that come out after spring break?
After spring break....have one to DC, and then another 4 weeks later to DFW.....Thanks for asking!!!

Wasn’t Rick the poster that stated on multiple occasions that Taylor Martinez would be our opening game starter his freshman year leading to the feeding frenzy by the untouchables for such a ridiculous prediction.

I played golf with Sluggo (Rich, wont use last name) when RSS had its first golf tournament back in the day. He is a first rate person and a guy who I think very highly of. I never stayed in contact with him after I left RSS but he left a lasting impression upon me.

There was another guy one of Sluggo's friends who loved NASA and space topics and for the life of me I cant remember his name but he passed away some time ago. He too was a very solid guy and a top notch person.

Louisiana Husker caught lots of crap but I enjoyed his posts very much and had several email conversations with him and two phone calls. Liked him a lot.
