Well if you bothered to read the article, you would see he is a grad transfer with only one year of eligibility left. Pretty certain if Cav was going to be fired he would already be gone.

A reserve who played in a few games late, I don't think so. If the guy is going to law school, he is undoubtedly going to have to go to a lower D1 where he doesn't have to be as dedicated time-wise. Handling first semester of law school does not mix well with the time commitment required to play major D1 football. My guess is the conversation with OSU coaches was the time commitment required for first year law school vs. playing at OSU. Just my thought on it.
