I remember when he "coached" against us awhile back when he was the head coach at Michigan State. The score was 50-10 Huskers. You have to have the "horses" and he has them now. I feel that 95% of college coaches could accomplish the same results WITH THAT TALENT.

No way. Tuscaloosa sets on the ocean and 90% of the 5 star recruits live within 20 miles of the campus. He's also pays all the players a boatload of money to go there and cuts all the non starters and brings in new guys next year..... cheater

Yea I hear ya but he is the triple threat--- perfect recruiter, perfect in-game coach/strategist, perfect motivator. Add in the fact that he is NEVER satisfied and you have GOAT.

Sorry but this is a bit like saying John Wooden isn't the greatest BB coach of all time because he never really won anything in those two years he was at Indiana State.

Don't forget about the year after in Lincoln, Saban lost that day 55-14.
