It was a great read with a bunch of candor from Coach Riley. It is really refreshing to hear from this coach vs the previous staff. Granted, the proof is always in the wins and losses but it sure makes it easier to pull for this staff.

It will be interesting to see if Bush stays after Riley said that Fyfe is a lock for No. 2 quarterback.

Good interview, though I didn't like seeing that Ryfe at #2 is all but set in stone. It would be good for the 2017 starter to get some reps this fall.

I do enjoy how candid he is. It makes the interview actually worth reading.

Indeed. You actually feel like you're learning something when you read or watch an interview with Riley. TO was charming and surprisingly funny when he wanted to be in interviews and he usually gave you some information. Solich stuck to his own brand of coach speak. Callahan didn't think we'd get it so he never got too in depth. Pelini rarely said anything interesting unless he was pissed, and then it was useless. Riley is a terrific interview, I enjoy his interviews as much as I enjoy Mike Leach interviews, but for an entirely different reason.

Yep, and the difference with Belichick (the other coach I follow) is night and day!

Why wouldn't he stay? He has a shot at being the man a year from now. If he left, he wouldn't be guaranteed anything on top of having to burn a year.

At this point, if he can't even come close to beating out RF, he'd better not be the man a year from now or we have problems.
Dramatic much? Dude should still be in high school...

My goodness... Guess we should just cut him loose now!
