What does POB think of this? Is he already locked in or can he get out of his commitment if Allen signs? If Allen comes POB goes from the odds on bet at being a four year starter to probably being a two year starter. I know that is all conjecture but it has to be going through his mind.

At the end of the day, you hope to bring in the best people possible and let them battle it out. It would be nice if this is how things worked out.

P.S. I don't see Allen going to Houston. No way their coach is there two years from now.

POB knows there will be competition anywhere and Allen was only marginally successful at A&M notwithstanding the recruiting experts ratings of him coming out of high school.

I think he can still bail. Signing aid papers for second semester is not the same thing as the LOI in February.

Shouldn't scare POB off if Allen comes anyway. If he is good and he believes in himself, he'll forge ahead. There is never a guarantee of starting 3-4 years. For all either of them knows, some world-beater might come in the next year.
