I just wish it would have been something more meaningful when it happened. I figured it was coming soon for one of the major characters.

If you have followed the comic series. He does not die this way. So there is hope. However, the tv show has not followed the comic story exactly. I'm hoping he crawled under the dumpster. Kind of like how I felt after this past Saturdays game.

Well, he should be dead, because his head is totally exposed, and there are about 50 walkers there and he is screaming, with no help on the way. Not believable if he gets out.

The show seems to go to great lengths to employ symbolism, irony, parallel character arcs, etc so here's my theory: I think he rolls under the dumpster and is able to crawl up inside of it somehow. Then he will communicate with Rick via the walkie talkie. This would be exactly opposite of the situation in the 1st or 2nd episode of the series, where Rick is trapped inside the tank surrounded by walkers and needs Glen to help him escape.

Great post! And they already set it up with the "dumb ***" reply from Glen to Rick in the episode. Perfect setup for a flash back and foreshadowing with the tank and dumpster all in one swipe. POTW!

I did not catch the "dumb ***" line, so it looks like that could very well be the direction they're going. Nice catch!

You can't kill Glen there, Negan's eventual introduction wouldn't have the impact with out Lucille caving in Glen's head in front of Maggie.

He'll either somehow roll under the dumpster or he some how hallucinated that. I saw an image from a group called the spoiling dead fans of him in scenes with Jesus from filming so the odds are ever in our favor that Glen is alive, for now.

Stopped watching this show a few seasons ago when it should have wrapped up and turned into a money grab. Figured I'd watch it all on Netflix at somepoint but thanks for the spoiler.

A money grab? You're aware the source material goes way beyond where the show is now. And it's hard to spoil something for you that you don't intend to watch, so your life is unaffected.

Last night's episode had a lot of "Star Trek" extras. You know, characters you had not seen much of before and knew they'd be dead before the end of the show.

I had no idea about the source material. Still feels like a money grab. Still intended to watch at some point when it's on Netflix, and still a crap move to post a spoiler in a subject title.

Actually last night was kind of shocking. All the new black characters survived bucking a well established trend.

I would usually post a The Walking Dead thread during the episode. And i would usually get 2 or 3 responses while the show was on from the usual Dead Heads.. Then nothing. I guess we will having some of you dedicated viewers starting next weeks thread?

I've never missed an episode, this just isn't where I go for my show talk. Just saw the thread and tossed in my .02. They better not have wasted Glenn's death. He was never going to make it out of this season, but this isn't how it was meant to be.
