Wisconsin is a winnable game

And I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a Nebraska victory despite what happened yesterday. Maybe a 7-10 point win.

For those of you going to the game, the PLAYERS need your support, get them over the hump and will them to win.

As for the coaches, well, they need to rebound and in a hurry. So much has already been said in other threads, they just need to win Saturday.

It is certainly winnable, but right now even more than the health of the roster, I'm worried about whats between the ears of the players. I don't sense confidence out of their body language.

Hopefully there will be some against the Badgers. They have to find a way to win a close one to start gaining that confidence, and I think it will be Saturday. We'll see.

Wiscy's D is legit and I don't see UN running on them at all and one dimensional is not a good look for TA.

UN's D can be pretty leaky and Stave should be ready to make a rebound after being shut down by Iowa.

Should be a low scoring game with the TO margin being the factor. I say 17-10 Wiscy

I agree with being leaky, but Wisky lacks an NFL type back, and their receivers are not what they have been in recent years either.

Don't forget our ability to mismanage the game. We'll figure out a way to loose close. At the end of the season, we'll be 10 plays away from 12-0.

I actually think we are capable of winning every game on the schedule except MSU. Hopefully the team stays in a good place mentally and keeps working hard. I'm most certainly behind them.

From where I sit it looks to me that Nebraska will have a very tough job scoring on Wisconsin and Bucky will struggle a bit with the Husker defense as well....but I honestly think Wisconsin is 10 points better than Nebraska.

I think that's a reasonable analysis. Ten points is close enough for me to think we can win the game if some things go right.

Ask Alex Lewis. He seems to be in a very good place mentally. I'll bet TA is really feeling it after being scape goated.

Unfortunately, Nebraska cannot be counted on to play well. There has been no evidence this year that NU is capable of playing consistently sound football. Wisconsin is nothing special this year, but as we have seen, you don't have to be special to beat Nebraska this season.

Things may get better, but until Rose-Ivey, Bando, Williams and especially Valentine get healthy we're gonna struggle. Evidently VV has been slowed with high ankle sprain but I think there is something fishy going on with him. Let's hope the kids are banned from social media for a while.

The Wisky offense isn't great this year, but they have balance. I just don't see the offense producing enough against a pretty solid D to get the win in a straight up game. Need a couple of TO's or special team plays in my opinion.

None of those players would have made a difference yesterday.

They don't coach.

Hell, it's not even like our defense didn't do well enough yesterday to win. Simply put the offensive coaching yesterday was about as bad as it gets..

I hope they can put it together to make it a game, and even better, win. But there is too much of a realist in me to be an optimist, so I say we are shut down by a very good defense = 24 - 7 as Paul Chryst refuses to run up the score against his buddy Mike Riley.
