During the SNF player introductions, Prince just said his high school instead of University of Nebraska. Anyone know what that's about? Beef with Nebraska or just paying respects to his high school?

No big deal I guess, but hearing starters from our school announce Nebraska can't hurt recruiting.

Think that if you may, but there are several players who announce "THE Ohio State University" that have pride in their college.

There must be some reason behind it.

Randy Moss used to say Rand University, to rep where he came from. I would say that is most likely what Prince was doing

A lot of players do it for their high school/elementary school/etc. It is probably pretty cool for the kids that go to that school. Can we keep it as simple as that?

Prince usually says Nebraska.
This is no big deal.
Soon as heard him say it, I knew somebody would think it's a big deal.

It is a big deal, don't fool yourself. Mad about Bo but it's about representing. Who gives a flying crap about someone's HS.

How can you be annoyed by a post? Your panties are in a bunch. Don't read it! Being annoyed by a post on a rivals board is far worse than someone wondering why he said his high school. I feel it is a diss on Nebraska. Maybe not on purpose, but it is choosing a HS over us. Troll? Nope

His commitment to Nebraska ended years ago. If he wants to use that time to pay homage to the flying spaghetti monster, that's perfectly fine by me. If he wants to use that time to pay respect to the dozens of people who helped him in life during his high school years, I'm not sure why anyone chooses to get butthurt about it. However, I'll admit it certainly is your prerogative to feel disrespected.

I wasn't trying to troll, just giving an opinion. If you disagree with me, fine. It doesn't put me in the camp of Bo or Cosgrove.
I agree with Eyeluv, just seems odd to me.

Why does it seem odd? Almost every week during Sunday Night Football 1-3 players say their high school or elementary school.
