Aren't we like 16 out of 17 in the red zone this year with 15 TDs????
Prolly so. I think our last 14 Redzones have resulted in TD's. But I agree, when you are first and goal at the one, RTDB.
Just get the ball across the goal line in the hands of a State player, it doesn't matter how you do it. Just get it there.
3 things happen when you run the ball and 2 of them are bad: lose yardage or fumble*****

Our only non score in the red zone was the backwards pass fumble against Memphis when the score was already 35-10. The field goal was against Arizona. Since then, touchdown every time we’ve been in the red zone. Whatever we are doing to score touchdowns in the red zone seems to be working pretty well.
The redzone fixation is the new drop 8. The problem has been solved, but I guess many are too traumatized by past struggles to let it go right away.

That 4th down attempt made me nervous. Against conventional wisdom but Leach ain't conventional.
