I don't know if Sarkisian and Fisher know it or not but they are joined at the hip. If either school fires their coach the other will automatically follow suit..... It's what they do.

Not to mention they gave him an extension back in January. How do you go from an extension to firing in 5 games without more to the story....

You would think. He's really only had 1 bad loss in the last 3+ years and that was last weekend. But I think Wisconsin is thinking they should be competing with Ohio St. and Michigan for Big 10 titles every year and they're too good for 9-4.

Likely two things at play here. Similar to the JoeMo situation, trying to get ahead of a program heading in the wrong direction before things get worse. But more importantly, give Jim Leonhard the HC job before he gets poached.
