I hope he stays around. Would love to see a mobile QB that can sling it in this offense.

He has very quick release..like a shortstop turning two…side arm, wind up, running, weak roll out throw back….very strong arm. Not worried about size when you have his attitude. I see some Kyler Murray in there….some Russell Wilson…Little bit of Baker in college….

Hats off to the Pirate. Could possibly be his last and greatest first mate. The kid has a rocket.

HA !! Also must note, whoever the animals were at the announcement party, that yelled like it was NFL green room, cheers, I chuckled!

Probly get the Miss State ratings drop next week. Be interesting to see who he convinces to jump in the boat with him

How soon after Will leaves do you want to start to evolve the offense without fear of Parson hitting the portal? Nowadays, players do not want to wait.

Safe to say Sawyer gone? And Locke probably exploring options

Why would Sawyer, a higher rated prospect who is currently the 2nd string QB, be scared off???????

Robison 0.9393
Parsons 0.8966
Locke 0.8935

This deep QB room is a great problem to have. I just don’t want Leach to come around to changing up the offense a little too late and be stuck with guys leaving because they didn’t get the job.

He doesnt have to change his offense. He just has to put someone back there with wheels who wants to throw first.

“ Not worried about size”

Size. He’s nearly 6’1” 200 lbs. For your comparison, Kyler Murray is 5’9” & some change, 200 lbs. Parsons is 3 inches taller and same weight as a HS senior. I think his size is fine, but I do understand, if he were 6’5” 225, he could be a 5*. He does have a strong arm, and can make most of the throws already. Very good pick up & blv the future will be he and Greek. I think Sawyer is the odd man out.

None of the QBs are leaving. You are talking about a redshirt freshman and a freshman and a high school senior.

I could see Robertson leaving. He’s not unseating Will unless he just does a 180 and he won’t hang around for two or three more years.

I guess we will see who is wrong over the next 2 years. If one goes it will be Greek. I would not blame him at all. I imagine Locke will pass him up.

Parsons could be the guy whenever Rodgers leaves. Our QB room is in a great spot. I was worried that wouldn't be the case after Mullins left but Leech has completely stacked it with his guys after the Morehead tenure. Bright days are ahead in Starksville! Maybe we can finally get a Target to compete with Walmarts and Krogers.

He'd would probably appreciate his name being spelled correctly
