If you read their NIL data it’s based off an algorithm they made up. It’s not based off real actual data. Basically if a team does well and has notable players that get talked about on tv and social media then that value goes up significantly. Their categories are performance, influence, and finally exposure in order of importance. Which means team and individual performance of players, then tv/social media presence, then finally exposure they say takes into account the other two and confirmed NIL deals.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in it. I’m not saying their rankings are wrong, just that their values aren’t based on cold hard data any more than perception.
