Is it not the same rule as football? Can’t they not lose a year if they only play in like 33% of the games? That would be 18 games or something like that. We only have 17 left.

Whole Wheat Crepes! you guys are hilarious. I get that we hate losing even one game and losing to OM does seem to hurt worse.
But we lost to their absolute best 17n arm tonight because we made a costly error in inning one and gave up three unearned runs.
Our pitching was great tonight. Fantastic.
We missed out on a few at bats on key situations - again because they had their best arm on the mound. And that, as they say, is baseball.
No question OM has a stronger line-up than us on paper and they have had a stronger line-up than us (on paper) for each of the last 8 years.
Nevertheless, we can and will win this series and we will likely win again on Tuesday.

Hindsight is 20/20 but we wasted 3 roster spots on these Freshman. You dont develop players now, either they can contribute out of High School or you cut them fall of Freshman year.

Not true at all. You will always have some developmental guys (especially some pitching). You 17 up when you sign players that you shouldn't have to begin with. None of those were ever starting at State. One was a legacy we threw a bone. We've done too much of that ****. Taking a legacy that won't play is like making Cohen athletic director and expecting our athletic dept to flourish.
