IMHO accepting a WNIT bid will only delay the hiring process of a new women's basketball coach. I can't speak for the ladies, but I would suspect that they are ready for the season to end and to remove the uncertainties of the coaching situation.

Other than beating OM, there was nothing special. They will not accept a WNIT bid.

They had some really good wins on the year. They never quit and with only 7 for half of the SEC slate was rough. The one moment the season got away was the 4th quarter at Kentucky. That was a brutal few mins to lose that one.

In a sense no, but to even be in the discussion for the NCAAT with the coaching and roster situation was unexpected.
