Don't worry. The NFL will get more tax breaks and billionaire owners will get tax-payer funded stadiums whenever they ask and especially when they threaten to leave a city. A win-win for all, right?

Well another problem I see from those emails
Goodell supposedly pressured the Rams to draft Michael Sam. So he wanted the Rams to fall on the sword and draft someone they didn’t want, and for them to spend money on, a player they may not have needed for the NFL to score political points. I wonder if the NFL reimbursed them for it? Of course they didn’t.

this ... but it wasn't Third Army yet. He didn't take over 3rd until France later on and this was in Sicily when it happened
And those types may complain and say "it ain't fair" while being unable to emotionally separate themselves from the NFL. The NFL can do much of what it wants because the "I ain't never watching again" type of fans largely post that to social media, tell that to their friends and still watch the NFL. And our politicians love giving the NFL, teams and owners, lots of money and prizes from the taxpayers. But "that ain't right" and "nobody should lose a job" can be trotted out the next time something similar happens.
I also feel like Gruden went down pretty easy for a guy that was supposedly fighting for his job. The e-mails obviously weren’t a good look, but I still haven’t read anything that I would consider 100% damning either. Just seems like Gruden kind of shrugged and said… whatever y’all, I’m out
The emails were subpoenaed, not leaked. All these emails are coming from the Washington investigation for workplace misconduct. Gruden fired these emails off to then Washington team president, Bruce Allen.

Because there is a large mass of Americans who demand freedom & liberty without accepting the accompanying responsibility & consequences. We used to call such behavior "adolescence".
Gruden violated our new blasphemy laws that limit what you can say about newly designated, sacred groups. I love Mississippi and lived there for years. And I'm a Christian, but every so often I'd say something I thought was harmless about religion or some of my fellow Christians and someone would let me know how offended they were because I supposedly denigrated an entire category of the population. They felt a need to announce how offended they were and how I violated something they hold sacred. There was no chance of me being cancelled, though. Our culture is different now. And, before anyone misinterprets me, what Gruden said is different. I do think saying genuinely racist and sexist things should be condemned. And yes, I'm aware of double standards in the NFL and elsewhere in America.
