Sounds great but of the Top 10 PG national recruits that are committed for 2024, 4 of the 8 are to SEC teams, Florida, Auburn, SC & Georgia. Things are not easy in the SEC.

Now that we are on top of the college baseball world, who is our competition? I’d say Arkansas and Vanderbilt. Arkansas blew it in 2018 and 2021. We’ll see how quickly they bounce back. It will also be interesting to see how NIL impacts Vandy’s advantage. Whatever impact it has will probably take a few years to be seen. I’ll also add Texas. They are a top program coming to the SEC.

You’d be hard pressed to find another program in MSU history where you felt more confident in the overall direction of a program than Lemonis and co in baseball right now. We basically know we are going to be elite on a yearly basis. Maybe Vic when he was rolling, but you knew there was always a good chance he would jump at some point.
