OT: anyone else having issues with CSpire fiber internet

For an hour or so for me with no connection. Been listening to hold music for 45 mins.

Yes. My cspire fiber was out at about 10:30 or so on 8/16. Im in jackson area.

This is not the first time it’s gone out.

I have little tolerance for no internet service.

Internet in Starkville for me has been turrible for a week now. My home service which is supposed to be "up to 40mbps" was giving me 1-3 mbps from Wednesday through the weekend. The shortest wait time on the phone they "estimated" was 26 minutes during that time and it was 5:30 a.m. last Thursday morning and as much as "126 minutes" after work Thursday night. I was blaming it on the students being back in town and MaxxSuck not having everything ready for that.

Riding around town my AT&T celllular internet has been sloooooow too, very slow as was my service at work. I have 2 sources of internet at work, 1 is a direct dedicated line to our software server in Jackson and the other is our whole building service provided by ITS. They are both being slow, I'm beginning to wonder if this is some kind of problems that those big Amazon servers or whatever they are and whomever provides them is having problems

I'm in the reservoir area and didn't have any issues. In fact, I think there's only been 1 outage in the 2 years I've had it and they pre-warned us about it. You must have had a line near you cut or something.

Starting somewhere around the 12th I experienced some downtime in the Olive Branch area. It has happened a few times since then. Never more than a few minutes. The Homepass app has warned me a few times that the Plume devices weren't connected. I reported it on a chat and did get some response but everything was working at that point. They did a cycle of my modem and even called me for a follow-up. I have never gotten an hour of downtime. I just have a few hiccups that I noticed.

I had no problems at all prior to the 12th.
