OT: Prospective studen advice

Friends are bringing their daughter up to check out the campus and Starkville this weekend. Where should they go for meals? I suggested something students would enjoy but they will want at least one meal at a nicer place. What apartment complexes should they look at? They are upper middle class and will pay to keep the princess happy.

Tyler for dining. Students enjoy it too when they can afford it.

As for apartments, I believe the University requires all freshmen to live in dorms so that simplifies that.

Princess needs to have the same experience I did. I suggest The Grove Apartments.

Second floor balcony at 2 Brothers so she can see the whole area, although it may not be hopping this time of year. Parking can be tight in that area, but you can usually park at the Catholic Church down the street and not worry about getting towed.

Hey don't be hatin' on Canterbury, it deserves better. I spent 2 of the best years of my life there. Yeah I know it is low rent and dead now but in the early '80s it was a blast to live there. I lived in the back right in front of the pool, not a better spot to be had anywhere as far as I was concerned
