As expected, John Cohen admits guilt.

In today's media circus, did it occur to you that every Youtuber, Twitter check mark, and everywhere in between would have posted video evidence? Or are you assuming Cohen himself heard the language rather than taking someone's word for it?

One of the funnier Jack Cristil quips was ...... "...and the Bulldogs can't stand prosperity."

it was never anything more than a comment of frustration but as I've learned over the years, the statement is very true.

Maybe we can have a fist fight post game handshake.

No he didn't. He agreed that such behavior is not acceptable. About as vanilla as you can get and as little as you can say, which means there will probably be a more profound statement once it is all sorted.

My God. Throw gas on the fire why don't ya, John. Unfortunately John is one of these dolts who would rather go out of his way to show how "woke" he is than MAYBE gathering a few facts first.

Downvote away.

He had to say something. Granted, he said something that goes without saying. I don't fault him for that at all.

Well no ****, it's unacceptable. We don't an official statement to tell us that. But again, nowhere did he mention we are investigating the incident. Which leads the average person sitting in Montana to read that and say ok their fans did indeed do it.

Nice overreaction. Dawgs must be down a game in the championship series.

What in the 17 did John admit too? Get a grip, fellas. He's playing it straight the way a pro is supposed to play it. He's not throwing anybody under the bus or exposing the racist tendencies of some backward *** fans. He just said it's unacceptable.

Are your asses just naturally chapped? Do you spend all day on talk radio hoping to get triggered?

Forget about this garbage, relax, and enjoy these next two games.

That's exactly what the Vandy douchebags wanted.

Unfortunately, this is true. Otherwise the Vandy AD, would've posted something to the effect of: John Cohen and I are discussing the reports of unruly, and possibly racist, behavior in the stands of TD Ameritrade. We will get to the bottom of this. If true, this behavior will not be allowed to mar the true spirit of competition of the CWS. The teams have sacrificed much to compete for a national championship.

Racist white people make things worse for other white people. Racism, at least from white people, is unacceptable in polite society (in addition to being dumb and immoral). Conservatives should really condemn it, not associate with racists, marginalize them and encourage them to change their views. Of course, many on the left blow things out of proportion, and a number of white progressives love to act morally superior by denouncing white conservatives and calling all sorts of things racist that really aren't. But, good for Cohen. I love Mississippi, but the state has a history, one that a lot of people don't like others bringing up. Most fans didn't say these things. Nothing wrong with condemning the few who did and by doing so showing that most fans don't approve of it.

Ok first off, you're right. We need to sit back and enjoy these games. We've

made it as far as we ever have other than 1 time and we have a chance to go even farther. I'm just loyal to my school and it's people man. I hate to see us dragged thru the mud, especially by a group as corrupt as Vandy. By the same token, if actual evidence shows this happened then the perpetrators should be disassociated from the school forever more.

Some of y’all need to chill out geez. Let John Cohen do his job. There will be an investigation. There will be a statement with more info once the story is sorted out with evidence.

It’s certainly possible but he hasn’t earned the benefit of the doubt on PR stuff. He completely 17ed up the Leach tweet issue. Basically did the only unforgivable thing that any high schooler with any sense could have known not to do.

Anybody that assumes that Cohen is competent on this stuff will take this as an admission that whatever was alleged actually happened. Which is fine if he has pretty strong proof it happened. If he doesn’t have strong proof, it was another 17 up.

Instead of disassociating him or her from the university, I recommend using this as one of those touchy-feely-liberal "teaching moments." Let's take him out behind Carpenter Hall, kick his lily-white ***, and make sure he never embarrasses himself or the school again.

If there is going to be an investigation, then he really 17ed up. The only justification for this approach is that you don’t want it in the news any longer than possible and you’re worried that pointing out that it’s just allegations at this point will just mean there will be some investigation and follow up.

Shouldn’t racism FROM ANY RACE be unacceptable in polite society?

They needed something to distract people from the fact that their team shouldn’t be playing in the finals. Now everyone will go from cheering against Vandy to cheering against MSU.
Show me proof of it or STFU Vandy AD.

Are you really stupid enough to say, and believe, that only conservatives are racist?

Here's a guy who watches MSNBC all day and believes every word of it. My gosh we're surrounded by idiots.

How did he 17 up the Leach tweet again? Nobody even remembers it. We are recruiting better than we ever have. Where is the 17 up?

Of course and by all means point it out. I'm not defending hypocrites on the left. But, because of America's past, white people face greater scrutiny regardless of whether that's fair or not. You have a harder time calling out others if you don't police your team.

Nope. Which is why I didn't write or say that nor do I believe that. Are you really so stupid that you can't meet basic reading comprehension standards we expect from middle schoolers and interpret what I wrote accurately? I'll try to use smaller words next time. And an untrue comment stated with absolute certainty that I watch MSNBC. FYI, I'm conservative. That's a big word, I know. Need me to define it?

Sure he had to say something but to this point there is no concrete evidence of anything happening. At least mention something in your statement about investigating the allegation.

ADs and message board/Twitter heroes need to learn when to STFU and not give an opinion on every got damn bad thing that happens. If you got proof someone is lying here, by all means, scream that to the mountaintops. Just don't poke that sleeping bear - nothing good comes from it. Adults know that *** holes and idiots ruin things. You don't have to explain yourself for the dumb things that others do every time. Getting involved in hopes you can statement it away is chumming the ocean.

Guess I'll be watching the broadcast on mute tonight. At least I won't hear the whistler.

People that have an issue with this statement have no clue what it's like to run things and be in charge of large, influential organizations.

Social media has indeed exposed a lot of people who don't know anything about a lot of topics they consider themselves experts on.

Then you should say so, but your statement clearly states that at least racism from whites is unacceptable. Racism that actually happens should be called out no matter the race or political alignment. The fact that everyone only mentions whites and conservatives when racism ever happens shows that the world isn’t concerned about anything except racism from whites and/or conservatives.

Nothing wrong with what he said, but you can't judge a fanbase by what one or two or a handful of fans may have done. If someone is doing such things, whether the person be white, black, or green, throw them out of the stadium, of if the situation warrants it, throw them in jail for disorderly conduct.

You can't be racist towards white people. You can be rude, disrespectful, insulting, discriminatory etc. but never racist. Once some white people finally realize this we maybe can start improving as a society. Want proof drop one word here you think any race could say to a white person that's anywhere close to the vitriol tied into the N word. I'll hang up and watch the ******** downvotes accumulate.

America's past? There isn't a country on this planet that doesn't have bloodshed and oppression in its past. Some STILL have it. Why are we the only country obsessed with picking old scabs and creating this illusion of victims and oppressors? It's amazing.
