I have been on vacation, and tried to take a break from message boards and mostly the internet in general. (Us Ole Miss fans can plan vacations this time of year *ba da boom cha!*) But I did want to stop by and congratulate you on what has been an incredible run, so far. It’s like I told an MSU buddy, recently - y’all aren’t out-talenting teams, and that’s the most impressive part. It’s a combination of coaching, a dominant bullpen, a great approach at the plate (which is also partly coaching) and just that clutch factor that seems to be in your programs DNA.

Ive never been one to try and pretend I’m anything other than an Ole Miss fan, so I’ll just be honest and say I’m not pulling for you. But I’m damn sure jealous of you. Go win it all, and rub the absolute **** out of it in our faces.

Oh, and also.. you got screwed having to face Leiter in game 1. There’s no other way to say that. It’s not right. On so many levels.

The X factor if you will is that our fans actually show up and create an atmosphere that favors MSU. Our players feel that and it feeds momentum.

What we don’t do is toss beer in the air. That “tradition” only serves to draw attention to your self-serving asshat fans instead of fueling your players to perform or intimidate an opposing pitcher.
