Did anyone else see him mouthing something in the dugout after he got pulled? I hope to God he was commending his coaches for such a fabulous decision, if not, he needs better self-awareness. Hit higher than .225 and he might have stayed in the game.

His glove and arm just aren’t that great that we can afford to have 3-4 auto outs every game, especially in key situations. I hope he stays, but he has lots of work to do to keep his position next year. If he is willing he can get up to a .265-.270 hitter and that is decent for an 8 or 9 hole batter.

I hope he doesn’t shy away from the competition next year.

I did and he wasn’t too happy about it.
Get your average at about 260 and you won’t be pulled in the 6th inning.
