That TA HBP felt like it was on purpose

I don't think it was on purpose. It would have been the stupidest move ever, and TA didn't do any showboating or taunting to warrant that response. Plus the pitcher who plunked him wasn't even the one he got the HR on.

I don't think it was for a couple of reasons, 1) He almost hit Hatcher on his pop-up bunt out. He popped it up because he was more focused on protecting his head then a quality bunt. The pitcher was struggling with control anyway. 2) Why would you intentionally put Rowdy in scoring position in a 1-run game in the 9th inning?

Putting him on base is a lot smarter than pitching to him. So if you are gonna intentionally walk him(to avoid getting rocked again) why not just bean him ? I think his coach snatched him because he thought it was intentional too

I was just convinced they were not going to pitch to TA again especially after the HR. Did we have 1st and 3rd or just 1st?

That is exactly how a pitcher is taught to throw at someone bunting for that very reason.

Count me in as believing it was an intentional HPB.

I belive it was intentional. If you watch the pitcher on replay, he stepped directly toward TA.
