Not every. Mac should've been gone at 2-0 when he was hitting the backstop. And Stone struggled big time. But the rest was perfect and the guys got it done.

Got lucky? He didnt get any luckier than the guys on the other side that got rockets hit right at them or put bloopers on the ground in left field. Baseball more than any other sport is affected by things outside the participants control. He made moves to put his team on the best position to be successful and did it masterfully. Luck had nothing to do with that.

Macleod has had bad first innings and come back to strike out 10. When they did the close up on him before his first pitch I told my wife that he was real nervous. That look got progressively worse. I thought we should have pulled him after the second run too but coach expected him to pitch his way through it. He didn't and the rest is history.

I noticed the announcers were saying "Hail State!" at the end of the game. That's the first time I've heard that happen.
