Feb. 20 Madden pitched 4 innings, gave up 4 hits, 4 runs, 3 ER's, 3 walks and threw 79 pitches. We did a great job of laying off his secondary stuff.

I’m feeling confident about Bednar vs Madden. I was nervous before Notre Dame game 1. I guess I just like the underdog role.

I’m feeling confident about Bednar vs Madden. I was nervous before Notre Dame game 1. I guess I just like the underdog role.

Bednar had some major velocity issues in that Notre Dame start. If he comes out slinging 91 mph fastballs, it's going to be a long night. Hope we see the normal 95-96 stuff from him tonight.
