Anybody betting on some games in the College World Series today? I currently have Stanford on the run line (-1.5) for +145 and Arizona ML +125. I’m hoping Arizona’s bats stay hot and are able to get after Rocker

It means you pay 10000 to win 100 on NC State or get 1300 for every 100 bet on Stanford.

It's a horribly juiced bet. They are offering only 13:1 on the underdog, but you have to lay 100:1 on the favorite.

Live line means it's an in game line for that game.

These lines are based on $100 so basically if you want to win $100 on NC State you'd have to put $10,000 on them (1 to 100 odds). If you like Stanford you'd win $1,300 on a winning $100 bet (13 to 1 odds)

This is correct. A $100 bet on NCST would’ve won you $1.00. Some of these baseball lines are just outright robbery. I get that they’re going to juice them a little more because it’s a niche market than isn’t scouted by oddsmakers year round, but come on man… that’s an insane line. In an NFL game if someone was -10,000 in a live line, you’d see the other team around +7,000 or 7,500.

I’m glad Barstool is drawing attention to it, particularly betting lines, because it will drag others into it, which should rein the crazy juicing in. Because right now the lines are so bad that outside of begging a game here or there, specifically an MSU game that you’re familiar with, it’s impossible to make money on these lines. The books are hedging them way too much.
