How are those who CHOOSE to not get vaccinated hurting ANYONE who is vaccinated? Why do so-called "liberals" not believe in freedom anymore? Get vaccinated or not it is your choice, and everyone has a right to not be DISCRIMINATED against at work, its called the Equal Employment Opportunity Act.

I assume that you know (and think you're setting up a gotcha) that the vaccine is close to 100% effective, but not quite. I assume you also know that if people don't take the vaccine and continue spreading the disease amongst each other, it might mutate into a form that the vaccine doesn't protect against.

There have been a bunch of stories like this that fizzled out once people actually examined the numbers. I'm glad they're looking into this, but I think we both know it probably won't hold up to statistical scrutiny. If there really were a link, it would have shown up very clearly by now.

If a player can successfully argue that his career was harmed because he chose not to be vaccinated and therefore was a second class citizen in league or didn’t get attention vaccinated players received, how is the league not on the hook for discrimination?

The same people who are hesitant about vaccines get put on jury duty.

Again, I’m vaccinated. But if someone is cautious, they should have room to be cautious as they are only putting themselves at risk. Seems like a bad idea to me.

As stated in the post, whoever the espn radio guy was talking about this said the majority of players aren't happy with this. Also said there is rising concern with how the vaccines are causing myocarditis in younger males. If this doesn't jive with your wokeness, sorry.

I am not sure why you brought wokeness into this. I posted an article about how the country's most popular sport/league plans to handle covid for the upcoming season and am suddenly being called woke(which again, doesnt apply to covid).

Any of you ever thought about the possible long-term ramifications of these vaccines? Everyone was in such a rush to get a vaccine out (that they say may not even keep you from getting the virus) that they haven’t even gotten FDA approval yet nor have they seen the long-term effects.

It’s even more weird how you all are shaming and want to force people to get the vaccine. Why? It won’t hurt you if you’re vaccinated. You’re now “protected”. How does it hurt you if other’s aren’t vaccinated?

This is the world we live in now though. Everyone must believe in the same things or be ridiculed or shunned. I wonder if an arm badge is next.

And here’s a link to an article an]bout the effects the vaccine is having on a very small group of vaccinated people. There is risk with the vaccine. This is just what we know after less than a year. And for the record, I’m not an anti-vaxer. I’m just for know long-term effects.

Lastly, it’s curious how the virus came from China and now China is the major player in vaccine production. Coincidence?

- if not enough people gain immunity, then viruses mutate and the mutations may negatively affect those with the shot. i learned this back in high school so forgive me if my explanation was simplistic as its been a few decades since I learned it. You asked how it affects the vaccinated- thats how.
- I dont think everyone should believe the same thing. I do hope that everyone makes decisions based on information available at the time and does not make decisions based on 'what if'.
- I dont think its curious when I hear China is producing medicine. Its the most populous country in the world and has produced medication for a long time. If they are a major player in covid vaccine production, I wouldnt be surprised.

Technically true, but it's extremely rare. For example, only 1 COVID death in Mississippi since March has been from a vaccinated person. The other 100-200 have been from people who had the opportunity to get the vaccine but chose not to, paying the ultimate price for "their own research" and their feelings.
